Happy first day of classes!
First and foremost, I would like to welcome you all back to campus or wish you the best if you are away this semester. I also want to take a moment to introduce myself, as you’ll be hearing from me a lot from this point on. I am one of the many new CSI team members, but I hold a very unique position within the office. My main focus is creating content for our social media and website. Yes, I have the amazing opportunity to call working with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and WordPress my job! If you follow us (and if you’re not, you should be!), you’ll find quick updates about fun events on campus, giveaways, and tips on how to run your organization.
As previously mentioned, our office has undergone a major overhaul. We have a new space, new team members, and a new name!
The new Programming Lab
Arguably one of our most exciting changes is the remodeling of the space once known as the Student Activities Resource Room in 240 Curry Student Center. This space wasn’t used as well as it could have been in the past, which makes us super excited to present the brand new CSI Programming Lab! The Programming Lab will feature meeting space, whiteboard tables, temporary storage, and new computers, among many other resources.
The Lab will also serve as the home to our new CSI Crew. The Crew will be around Monday through Friday to help you program, brand, and market your organization. This space will open on September 9th, so swing by and say hello to our Crew!
Kyndra, Dexter, and Cynthia
Finally, over the summer our staff has grown to include six new members! If you see them around the office, make sure to say hello!

- Carson Lance: Assistant Director of Fraternity/Sorority Life + Student Engagement
- Casey Mulcare: Coordinator of Scheduling Operations
