Hi, Northeastern! My name is Joy and I work in the CSI Programming Lab as a member of the Programming Crew. I’m a second year International Business major and I’m on the Chinese track.
Since I began working in the newly redesigned Programming Lab, I have accumulated more knowledge about Northeastern University’s policies and became much more aware of the vast array of organizations at our University. If I had to choose, my favorite Lab experience thus far would be having the chance to plan all kinds of events with different student organizations.
Other than working in the Programming Lab, I am also a health and fitness blogger. The purpose of my blog is to inspire others to live a healthy, active lifestyle through motivational posts, easy clean recipes, and personal anecdotes about my weight loss journey. A blog is a great way to build a community and bring people together, much like Scribbles & Tidbits, the Center for Student Involvement blog. This space serves as a resource and platform for student organizations to connect with each other and create more awareness around the diversity of organizations available right here on our own campus.
If you would like help starting a blog for your organization, drop by the Lab and ask for me! Alternatively, if your organization would like to be featured on Scribbles & Tidbits, feel free to get in touch with Gabi at firstname.lastname@example.org!
