#LEAD360: Are you a Leader?

Now accepting applications for BLUEPRINT mentors, Voices for Social Change Facilitators, Women’s Leadership Facilitators, and Leadership Consultants!

Are you passionate about leadership?  If you are excited by the ability to help develop students’ leadership capacities, we want you to apply to be a #LEAD360 mentor, facilitator, or leadership consultant! LEAD 360 is a component of Northeastern’s experiential learning model, which uniquely prepares students to be change agents in a complex, global society. You can be part of helping other students learn the foundations, strategies, and philosophies of leadership by becoming a LEAD 360 mentor, facilitator, or leadership consultant. Come share your knowledge and empower the next generation of leaders with #LEAD360!

We currently have four types of positions available:

  1. BLUEPRINT mentors guide first year students through an eight week interactive seminar that explores issues around leadership, managing and resolving conflict, self-care, identities, citizenship, and social change.
  2. Voices for Social Change facilitators will challenge students to become social justice and identity-conscious leaders in this eight week experiential seminar. Topics include power, privilege, identity politics, microaggressions, community, and movement building.
  3. Women’s Leadership facilitators support women through an eight week seminar that critically examines gender issues relating to the media, workforce, and global leadership.
  4. Leadership Consultants act as on-campus leadership resources for Northeastern students and organizations by offering free workshops on topics such as conflict resolution, personality styles, time management, and how to run effective meetings.

Applications for facilitators, mentors, and consultants are open to all staff, faculty, and students until November 19, 2014. You can find the online application here.
